The following is a description of each photo gallery.
Sidney, OH Old Jail (Shelby County) Oct, 2009
The Sidney Jail investigation was interesting in three ways. First off, the Shelby County Historical Society had approached us to see if we were interested in a raffle event. The Historical Society had previous contact with us from our investigation of the Historical Museum itself. They wanted to raffle off two spot on our team for the jail investigation. The group agreed, and welcomed the two winners and Laura from the museum for the investigation. The second interesting point of the investigation was the jail itself. The jail is no longer in use except for record storage. This building was built in 1875 and it is a large stone building. With three floors to investigate, we had some space to cover. The third way it was interesting was what we found during our analysis of our recordings. During the night itself, the case seemed to be a slow one. We only had one event were we had some strange thermal and emf (electro-magnetic field) readings in one jail cell. So we were surprised when we found 10 evps (electronic voice phenomena). We plan to post some of them on our evp page. Also the Jail was pretty dusty, and we captured a lot of it in our pictures.
Wood County OH Historical Museum Lunatic House
This investigation occurred in Jan 2010. This building had a definite creepy feeling, but the group did not find much. We did pick up faint music on two of our voice recorders, and one other faint evp (electronic voice phenomenon). Other than that it was just a cool old building.
Findlay, OH Apartment Jan 2010
This investigation took place in a small two bedroom apartment. We first listened to the claims of the tenant who stated that battery operated toys would turn themselves on. The resident also stated that the occupants of the apartment felt like they were being watched, and shadows had been seen. We set up our equipment and did manage to catch some strange emf (electro-magnetic field) readings on the bed. This case is a ongoing investigation so we cannot discuss any more findings at this time. |
